Frequently asked questions

How do I earn badges?

Each badge lists its exact criterion (e.g., "Visit 10 different pages" or "Use PUE calculator"). Navigate the site normally — the tracker runs in the background and unlocks badges automatically when you hit the threshold. No button to press.

Is my data shared or stored on a server?

No. All progress is stored in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is sent to any server. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, your progress resets. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Why does a badge show partial progress?

Multi-step badges (e.g., "Read 5 articles") display a mini progress bar showing how many steps you have completed. Single-action badges (e.g., "Share any page") show only locked/unlocked — no partial state.

Can I reset my progress?

Yes. Use the "Reset All Progress" button at the bottom of this page. This permanently deletes all tracked data from your browser. This action cannot be undone.

Why are some badges locked even after I used the feature?

The tracker requires rz-tracker.js and rz-gamification.js to be loaded on the page you visited. If you blocked scripts or used a private window, activity may not have been recorded. Try revisiting the page with scripts enabled.

What does the Knowledge Level mean?

The level (Novice / Technician / Engineer / Architect / Master) reflects the percentage of badges unlocked — 0–19% = Novice, 20–39% = Technician, 40–64% = Engineer, 65–89% = Architect, 90%+ = Master. It is a local indicator only.
